My Favorite Walt Disney World Park

Updated: Jan 27, 2023

Today let’s talk about my favorite Disney Park, Magic Kingdom! Now I know what you’re thinking, "Kelcey, this is everyone’s favorite park", but this park just holds a special place in my heart. Growing up my dream was to go to Disney World just like every little girl’s dream was and I remember my grandpa always saying he would take me, and he never got the chance. I couldn’t go until I was 28 and Magic Kingdom was my first park. I will never forget turning that corner on Main Street and seeing the castle for the first time. Right there at that moment, I felt the magic everyone told me about and I instantly knew Disney was my new happy place. I felt all the stress and anxiety go away and got sucked into the magic of Magic Kingdom. There is so much to do in this park! Let’s start right on Main Street U.S.A! Here you can find the Train Station that just reopened! This is a train ride that will take you around Magic Kingdom Park! You can also find the Emporium! If you’re looking for souvenirs and anything you could ever think of this is the place to go! You can also find my favorite quick service on Main Street and that is Casey’s Corner! If you’re looking for a ballpark hotdog with chili, cheese, or a Chicago-style dog this is a must! Next, we can go into the lands. First, let’s walk through the castle and visit Fantasyland! Here you will find Prince Charming Carrousel, it’s a small world, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Mickeys Philharmagic, Mad Tea Party, Peter Pans Flight, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Journey of The Little Mermaid, and lastly you can meet four princesses at the Princess Fairytale Hall. My favorite attraction in this land is "it’s a small world". Now I know some of you are like WHAT?! But it’s a classic and that’s why I love it. Let’s headcover to the Storybook Circus Area! Here you can find Dumbo, Barnstormer, and Pete’s Silly Side Show! They also have amazing treats in the tent! Now let’s go into Tomorrowland. Here you can find the Tomorrowland Speedway, Space Mountain, Astro Orbiter, Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover, Carousel of Progress, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, and the Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. In this land, my favorite is Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor. If you’re looking for a place to cool off and laugh this attraction will guarantee both of those things. Now let’s head to Adventureland! Here you will find the best Dole Whips at Aloha Isle; my favorite is the coconut! You will also find the Swiss Family Tree House, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. My favorite ride here is Pirates! The smell of that Pirate water is amazing. I want to bottle it up and bring it home! Since we're by Frontierland, let's go here next! Here you will find Big Thunder Mountain, Country Bear Jamboree, and Tom Sawyer Island. Splash Mountain which is now closed and being rethemed, will reopen in 2024 as Tiana's Bayou Adventure! In this land, I love Big Thunder Mountain. It was the first rollercoaster my son went on, so it holds special memories for me! Let’s make our way over to the last part of the park that holds my top favorite ride and snack, Liberty Square. Here you can find The Hall of Presidents, Liberty Square Riverboat, and my favorite, Haunted Mansion. Here you can also find Sleepy Hollow, home to the best snack in the parks the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich. If you’ve never had this, you are really missing out! A Waffle, Chocolate-Hazelnut spread, and Fruit what else could you want?! Guys, when I am at Disney, I start and end my trip with Magic Kingdom. Seeing Mickey and Minnie in the parade, watching the amazing fireworks and projections on the beautiful castle, seeing the Dapper Dans singing when you walk down Main Street! Sitting here typing this just warms my heart. This park is so magical which sounds cheesy I know but if you’ve experienced it then you know and if you haven’t you should. Make memories with your family that you will hold onto forever and experience all the amazing things this park has to offer.
