We communicate on this page daily with one another, which truly makes our community feel like one! Whether you are experienced or brand new, we will provide you the tools, guidance, and community you need to grow your business with confidence! 

 

Applicants should be aware of the following before completing the application:
 

• Agents with Step Into Adventure are Independent Contractors (IC’s) who set their own hours and work from their home office

• Agents are required to complete each suppliers training course.

• Agents will need to have a dedicated workspace that is free from noise and distraction.

• MUST have a valid US passport.

 

FAQ

How am I employed or affiliated with Step Into Adventure?

• As as an agent, you will work as an independent contractor. You will receive a 1099 for tax purposes. 

How will I be paid?

• You will earn commission on the trips your clients book and travel on. At Step Into Adventure, we offer competitive commission splits, with room to grow as your business expands.

How often will I be paid?

• Commissions will be paid to you after your client completes their trip. Payments are normally issued on the first of each month. 

Am I limited to only booking Disney Vacations?

• Not at all. While all of our agents are well trained on Disney destinations, you are not limited to that. We have access to a wide range of suppliers. You can choose what you would like to specialize in and what you are most passionate about! 

What other benefits can I expect besides commission?

• As a part of Step Into Adventure, you will earn 90% of the commission on your own personal travel. You will also gain access to exclusive travel agent rates and discounts to many of the destinations that you book.

Minimum Qualifications

​

* Must have personally visited Walt Disney World OR Disneyland in the last 3 years, 1 visit to Walt Disney World in the last 12 months (must have visited all 4 parks).

* High level of verbal and written skills.

​

* Exceptional level of customer service skills.

​

* Must be extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated, and business-minded.

​

*Must be willing to stay active, involved, and committed to growing your business.

​

* Must have a professional working space to keep client files, make phone calls, etc.

​

* Must perform as a team player in a collaborative environment – we want agents who are honest, patient, respectful, dedicated, and share the same passion for travel as we do.

* Must be proficient in and actively use social media.

​

* Must be able to market yourself and generate sales leads – Step Into Adventure will provide guidance and training on how to market your business and will help you continue to grow your client base in the years to come.

*Please note that there are annual fees associated with becoming a Step Into Adventure agent.
