My name is Melissa Martin, and I LOVE DISNEY. My first trip to Disney World was with my family in 1987; I knew I was hooked, and that Disney would forever be a part of my life. I now visit Disney World every year with my husband and my two daughters. Our honeymoon was celebrated there; our youngest daughter’s 1st birthday was celebrated there (with Winnie the Pooh, of course); and, more recently, our oldest daughter’s 21st birthday was celebrated at Disney World.
My goal is to make sure that ALL of my clients have the most magical Disney vacation possible! In 2001 I found myself developing a hobby of planning Disney vacations for others and before I knew it, I was known as the local Disney go-to girl. I knew then that this was what I wanted to spend my life doing, and now that my children are in school full time, I can give planning Disney vacations 110% of my time. My children are now 16 and 22 and I have been taking them to Disney World since they were babies, so I have personal experience which will allow me to tailor your vacation to your needs, whether your children are babies or teens.
One of my favorite things that Disney has to offer is the Disney Dining Plan. I enjoy researching the best restaurants and all they have to offer, then making suggestions based on your specific interests and needs. I have been known to secure reservations for dining experiences that my clients otherwise would have never been able to have if they planned their trip on their own – whether it be a character meal, a nice quiet dinner for two, or maybe even a dinner show. Many people don’t know that dining reservations need to be made as many as 180 days in advance, and I work very hard to ensure that you get into the dining experiences you want even if you’re traveling less than 180 days from the date you plan your trip.
I don’t stop at helping my clients with their dining plans, though! I will also provide you with the perfect itinerary, tailored for your family. I pay great attention to detail, including everything from park hours to crowd levels specific to the time you are traveling. You wouldn’t want to be dining while “Happily Ever After” or “Fantasmic” are happening! I will plan your dining around all of these special moments so you’re sure not to miss a thing.
Making Disney plans and Disney memories is extremely exciting for me; from creating countdown calendars, to making dining plans, to giving you a personalized itinerary. I will treat your vacation as if I am planning for my own family!
